Tech Lead / Solution Architect - Personalization

The client is advancing a major personalization initiative aimed at delivering hyper-personalized user experiences, implementing recommendation algorithms, and maximizing data efficiency. In this role, you will act as a Tech Lead / Solution Architect—either directly joining the core personalization team or backfilling technical lead roles across customer-facing development teams. The project is focused on building long-term, scalable personalization capabilities from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical solution design and architectural direction for hyper-personalization capabilities.
• Architect and implement backend and frontend solutions optimized for real-time recommendation engine logic.
• Ensure data optimization, system efficiency, and performance scalability across services.
• Define and manage modern cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Provide technical leadership, bridging business requirements with technical delivery across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Personalization Experience: Proven track record of previously building and deploying personalization capabilities or recommendation engines.
• Backend Development: Deep proficiency in Node.js (Java experience is a strong plus).
• Frontend Development: Solid experience with Angular (React knowledge is a plus).
• Cloud & IaC: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code frameworks (CDK or similar).
• Data & AI: Solid understanding of data optimization and algorithmic efficiency.
• Direct AI/ML experience is a plus, but strong curiosity and willingness to learn are highly valued.

• Location requirements: Helsinki Metropolitan area (Hybrid: 1 day/week onsite at the customer office, 3 days per week at the onboarding phase)
