Senior T24 Architect (Enterprise Banking)

We are seeking an experienced Senior T24 Architect to drive the evolution of a large and complex Core Banking environment. In this role, you will define and guide the architecture of the Temenos T24 landscape, ensuring alignment across business capabilities, technology platforms, and long-term strategic goals.

You will provide end-to-end architectural leadership across multiple initiatives and delivery streams. Collaborating with business stakeholders, engineers, architects, and external partners, you will support the stability and resilience of critical banking services while enabling platform modernization and simplification.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Core Banking Architecture:

• Shape and evolve the architecture roadmap for Temenos T24 and surrounding Core Banking capabilities.
• Define target-state architecture, principles, and standards aligned with business and technology strategy.
• Provide end-to-end architectural leadership across complex initiatives and delivery streams.
• Ensure consistency, scalability, and sustainability across the Core Banking landscape.

Design Business-Critical Solutions:

• Translate business requirements into robust, implementable architecture solutions.
• Design integrations between Core Banking, payments, digital channels, lending, deposits, customer management, and data platforms.
• Identify interfaces, data flows, and dependencies across applications, infrastructure, and external services.
• Evaluate architectural alternatives and make clear trade-offs across business value, delivery risk, and technical complexity.

Drive Platform Modernization:

• Modernize and simplify the Core Banking ecosystem while maintaining service stability.
• Promote API-first, event-driven, and cloud-enabled architecture patterns where appropriate.
• Reduce technical complexity and improve platform maintainability, testability, and operability.
• Identify opportunities for reuse, automation, and standardization across markets and delivery teams.

Build Resilient, Governed Solutions:

• Define critical functional and non-functional requirements for availability, security, performance, scalability, resilience, and operability.
• Guide architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations.
• Build and maintain the architectural runway needed for sustainable delivery and future change.
• Assess architectural risks, technical debt, and lifecycle concerns, guiding proportionate remediation.

Collaborate and Influence:

• Partner with business owners, Product & Solution Management, engineering teams, Enterprise Architects, and external suppliers.
• Act as a trusted advisor for strategic Core Banking initiatives and technology investment decisions.
• Communicate complex architectural topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor architects and engineers, foster collaboration, and enable accountable decision-making.

Requirements

• Temenos T24 Expertise: Significant hands-on experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact in architecture, solution design, or senior engineering roles.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Core Banking processes, platform capabilities, and integration dependencies.
• Large-Scale Transformation: A proven track record of leading architecture for large-scale transformation, migration, or modernization initiatives.
• Enterprise Environment: Experience working across multiple teams, products, or markets in a complex, multi-market enterprise environment.
• Banking Standards: Extensive experience with banking requirements involving high availability, security, resilience, and strict regulatory compliance.
