Backround

A client building industrial software for heavy-asset industries (energy, chemicals, utilities) is looking for a senior fullstack engineer for its product teams. The products include digital twins and operator interfaces that work with large volumes of industrial and time-series data. The client is actively building up its AI capabilities, so experience bringing AI features into web products is a clear plus.

Requirements:

• 6+ years as a fullstack software engineer
• TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js
• Angular preferred; MEAN stack experience
• API design
• Object-oriented programming
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis and Elasticsearch
• Time-series databases: InfluxDB and TimescaleDB
• Azure DevOps

Beneficial:

• Experience building AI features into web products, such as RAG or LLM integration
• Industrial domains, IoT, digital twins or time-series data

Soft-skills:

• Curious and passionate about the field; follows new developments and likes testing new things, also in their own time
• Uses AI agents and tools productively while still owning and understanding the code
• Can think at a higher level of abstraction as more of the work moves to prompting
