Senior Embedded Developer #2 - Manufacturing Industry

We are looking for a consultant to support one our client's cross-functional IoT teams. The profile we are looking for is a senior-level engineer with at least 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems and industrial control systems, specifically around software development on systems-on-chip and embedded Linux environments. Familiarity with Yocto Linux, China Telecom networks, and the Cumulocity IoT platform is a strong advantage.

Location: Hybrid, Hyvinkää/Espoo weekly onsite

On the technical side, the consultant should be comfortable working across C/C++, Python, and Shell scripting. Knowledge of Node.js, Java is a plus. They should also have a good grasp of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, as the role sits within an Enablement team that works closely with multiple feature teams in a cross-team dependency setup.

The work centers on designing and implementing connectivity solutions for machine IoT data, covering both on-premises shop-floor environments and cloud integration. Day-to-day activities include contributing to technical architecture, writing, and reviewing code as well as providing documentation and instructions for operations
