Senior AI Developer

A Finnish biotechnology and environmental analytics start up based in Helsinki, is seeking an experienced Senior, Staff, or Principal-level hands-on software developer or architect to design and implement internal AI systems for our customer environment. The focus of the project is on modernizing internal workflows by securely introducing advanced AI tooling and consolidating existing documentation systems for agentic AI use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the architecture for internal AI system integrations and agent workflows
• Build a secure Slack integration to enable team-wide access to modern AI development tools (such as Codex and Claude Code)
• Consolidate and integrate existing internal documentation platforms to ensure seamless data accessibility for AI agents
• Execute practical, hands-on software development to ensure robust performance and security of the integrations

Qualifications and technical skills:

• Extensive hands-on experience as a Senior/Staff/Principal Software Developer or Solutions Architect
• Proven track record in designing and implementing system integrations and AI/LLM-driven architectures
• Strong expertise in integrating APIs and development environments with tools like Slack, Codex, and Claude Code
• Solid background in system consolidation, documentation management, and data readiness for AI agents
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, self-driven working style, and fluent professional Finnish language skills
