Senior AI / Agent Engineer

We are looking for a high-tempo gaming client for a senior and independent AI Engineer to take over the development of an internal AI assistant that helps employees through onboarding workflows. The solution is already deployed and actively being iterated, so this is a hands-on production role rather than an early prototype.

The team is small and highly autonomous, so you will be expected to own the delivery end-to-end. The work will be done in a strongly AI-native development setup, with specs, decision records, and automated review gates.

What you’ll do:

The AI Engineer will take over and lead the evolution of this Python-based agentic system within a small, streamlined team. You will act as the sole developer after the handover from the current engineer, develop and operate a Python-based agentic application on GCP, as well as build and evolve MCP-based integrations and agent behavior on an internal agent platform.

A deep, foundational background in software development (Python) is vital to jump into an active codebase and drive it forward immediately. We also expect proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI agents and tool integration patterns. Experience with GCP (Cloud Run) and Terraform is required.

Requirements:

• Strong Python development experience.
• Proficiency in GCP (especially Cloud Run) and Terraform.
• Proven track record of building production AI agents / agentic systems.
• Experience with MCP and tool/integration patterns for agents.
• Experience working heavily with Claude Code or similar AI-native development workflows (not only using AI tools alongside traditional development).
• Documentation-first ways of working and high autonomy.
• Ability to take over an existing system, understand it quickly, and independently drive it forward.
