Lead developer for SaaS

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Developer to spearhead the architecture and core development of a brand-new, modern product targeting the HR & Financial Management domain. As the product is in its early stages of development, this role offers a unique opportunity to build scalable solutions and establish modern architecture almost from scratch.

You will play a central role in a collaborative squad alongside senior developers/architects, business experts, UX designers, and a Product Manager. In addition to strong technical leadership, you are expected to understand business drivers, actively master the domain context, and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across functional roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Lead the end-to-end development with a strong focus on backend architecture, system design, and scalable infrastructure.
• Integrate AI Capabilities: Drive the implementation of agentic AI capabilities and intelligent features directly within the product ecosystem.
• Lead by Example in AI-Assisted Engineering: Leverage modern GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex) daily in your coding workflow, actively shaping and aligning common AI-assisted software development practices with the team.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with business stakeholders, designers, and product leads to translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable technical solutions.

Must-Have Experience

• Fullstack Development: Strong software engineering background with a emphasis on backend, API design, and system architecture.
• Core Tech Stack: Proven experience with .NET, Azure Cloud Services, and React.
• AI-Assisted Coding: Active usage of GenAI tools (Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, etc.) in daily software development.
• Communication & Domain Drive: Excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and a proactive attitude toward taking ownership of a new domain.

Strong Plusses (Nice-to-Have)

• Agentic Frameworks: Hands-on experience or familiarity with agentic AI development, particularly Microsoft Agent Framework (or similar frameworks like AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).
• Domain Knowledge: Prior background in HR, Payroll, Financial Management, or enterprise SaaS products.
