Fullstack Engineer – Personalization

This long-term project focuses on driving the customer's core personalization initiative forward. As a Fullstack Engineer, you will either join the personalization team directly or backfill key engineering roles across adjacent customer teams. The engagement centers on designing and implementing hyper-personalization capabilities, recommendation algorithms, and high-performance data optimization solutions to deliver tailored end-user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and maintain end-to-end personalization features and recommendation logic.
• Develop robust backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces.
• Optimize data handling and execution performance to support real-time hyper-personalization.
• Manage and deploy cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with cross-functional product and data teams to integrate AI-driven personalized features.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Personalization Background: Hands-on experience building personalization capabilities, hyper-personalization systems, or recommendation engines in past projects.
• Backend: Strong proficiency in Node.js (Java is considered a plus).
• Frontend: Solid experience with Angular (React experience is a plus).
• Cloud & IaC: Practical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (CDK or similar frameworks).
• Data & AI: Familiarity with data optimization and efficiency; hands-on AI experience is a plus, but a strong curiosity and willingness to learn are equally valued.

• Location requirements: Helsinki Metropolitan area (Hybrid: 1 day/week onsite at the customer office, 3 days per week at the onboarding phase)
