Backend Developer (Enterprise Banking)

Role: Backend Developer with a strong background in C++ and Java FX

This project involves contributing to the end-to-end development of automated credit decisioning solutions for a financial services provider. The role encompasses full backend lifecycle ownership, including middle-tier integrations, manual and automated testing, code refactoring, and technical documentation across multiple business lines.

Start: 1.10.2026

Duration: 6 months (until 2027-03-30)

Location: Helsinki, Finland (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Language: English (Finnish proficiency is a plus)

Tech-wise we're looking for:

• C++
• Java & Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture
• Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Jira
• Clean Code principles
• Automation testing frameworks: Selenium & Cucumber (Nice to have)
• Kubernetes container deployment (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of legacy stack: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VB, ASP (Nice to have)
• AI integration for business solutions (Nice to have)

Soft-skills we're looking for:

• Strong communication and business stakeholder collaboration
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Other: Requires 6+ years of backend development experience; prior financial services industry experience is preferred.
