Senior DevOps Engineer

Our customer within the automotive field is looking for a consultant to join the team. In this project, the consultant will join a division of ”Artifacts & Quality” consisting of 1500 engineers working strongly with wide range of services within CI/CD area including e.g. software configuration management, build automation, artifacts management and code analysis.
The "home" team where consultant will work concentrates on deploying, maintaining, supporting and managing tools used for Artifacts management, static code analysis and vulnerability scanning. The consultant needs to like to working with scripting and automation as well as have a good understanding of CI engines like Jenkins and versions control systems like Git. Customer’s applications run in Cloud, and the consultant needs to have a good understanding of Azure and AWS.
In the centre of the day-to-day work are the following:
- Designing, implementing, operating, and supporting large scale solutions for artifact management as well as working with systems that support software security, quality, and compliance.
- Providing expert level support on the usage of the provided solutions.
- Contributing to boost team knowledge and continuous improvements.
In order to be a great match, the consultant should find themselves in the following:
- Experience from deployments in containers such as Docker
- Experience from automation, and script languages including Bash and Python
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform and Terragrunt)
- Experience in Kubernetes
- Experience working with GitOps (Argo CD or Flux)
- Understanding of CI/CD – use and operations
- Experience from agile methodologies and ways of working
- Experience working with Azure/AWS cloud environment
Additionally, the customer gets even more excited if the consultant has expertise in (however, these are nice-to-have skills):
- Artifactory deployments
- Deployment of static code analysis
- Open-source security and compliance-solutions
