ICT Project Support

We are looking for a candidate who will initially support IT services, but where the content of tasks also requires extensive support and collaboration with other organizational units in Digitization and Development, but also the whole company in general. The IT management support reports to the IT department director, but must on a daily basis work closely with other management and professional competence.

There is a need for support for the following tasks:
- Review of IT contracts with a view to improving services for the company’s end-users in these areas:
- IT hardware: PCs, mobile phones, IT equipment, and network equipment. Today, there are various agreements for PCs, mobile phones, and network equipment, and the responsibility is distributed.
- IT consulting services for technical user support. Today, technical user support is staffed by permanent employees, but consultants are hired when needed.
- Meeting and video room solutions, including consulting, design, and implementation. Today we have an agreement for HW, but lack the service perspective "as a service" where solutions are delivered that are perceived as user-friendly and intuitive (plug and play).


This work will take place in close collaboration with Purchasing and contract follow-up:
- Establishment of autonomous platform teams and management model for these, including flexible working methods.
- Define interfaces internally between IT services and other organizational units and roles in Digitization and development, including continuous assessment and definition of areas of responsibility and tasks.
- Financial management, basis for budget, follow-up of accounts, life cycle for HW, categorization for reporting and other controller activities in collaboration with Finance and business management.
- IT project management and/or support for the business when it goes to the purchase of applications (incremental improvement and development), including assistance with requirements specification in accordance with current frameworks and standards for technology, security, and architecture.
- Consulting and operational follow-up of technical portfolio from on-prem solutions in "own" basement, to public cloud solutions.

The list is not exhaustive, and there may be a need for management support in other areas as well. However, the points above are prioritized in terms of criticality and should be started immediately after accession. It is desirable that the role be cleared for level secret, but this is not crucial.


Requirements for experience and competence:
- Experience of working in public complex organizational structures within the order of magnitude of the customer, with approx. 850 employees distributed nationwide (Norway).
Experience with various solutions for technical user support, including procurement, implementation, commissioning, and continuous improvement: a) own employees b) sourcing with supplier resources in supplier premises, in supplier systems c) sourcing with supplier resources in customer premises, in customer systems.
- The experience involves experience with service level follow-up (SLA), establishment of this, and other service management tasks.
- Experience with purchasing, implementation, and operation / continuous improvement (supplier follow-up) of IT services in the public sector, with a focus on service perspective and business/user needs.

Has completed acquisitions within the technical subject domains:
a) Client and hardware (PC, mobile, network equipment)
b) IT service desk as a Service
c) Meeting and video room solutions (design, consulting, and implementation)

- Experience with the implementation of platform teams in a product organization, including flexible working methods adapted to I&O, management model for technical decisions, and continuous adjustment and improvement of roles and areas of responsibility.
- Experience with IT controller function: Financial management, basis for budget, follow-up of accounts, the life cycle for HW, categorization for reporting to management.
- Experience with IT project management and/or support for the business when it comes to purchasing applications (incremental improvement and development), including assistance with requirements specification in accordance with current frameworks and standards for technology, security, and architecture.
- Experience with consulting and operational follow-up of technical portfolio from on-prem solutions in "own" basement, to public cloud solutions.
- Experience with technical portfolio management, including license control.
- Good oral and written presentation skills, also in English.
